I grew up on my grandfather’s floor with a set of headphones on my head. Once I was able to operate the mechanisms for delivering music to my brain, I listened to everything I could. In the process, I amassed a collection of tapes and cd’s that became the envy of my friends and family. By college, my library held a plethora of the classics, the obscure, live shows and even the majority of my net worth for a while (Thanks Napster). Dumb enough to bring two guitars to China, but smart enough to snatch up as much vintage equipment as possible, you can find me playing guitar, building amplifiers in my garage, or out listening at the show. A Chicago boy at heart, I’m back down here in Texas where I was born—sweating in the heat, subsisting on music and beer.
